Safety Measures

Where life feels safe

In order to make sure you feel safe, comfortable and confident to return, we thought it might be helpful to tell you that Discover Parks ‘Is Good to Go’ and that our parks are safe and fully prepared for opening.

Our Team have completed specific park risk assessments and from this we have created our ‘Where Life Feels Safe’ safety measures:

All parks are open.

September 2021

We can confirm that the toilets, showers and laundry facilities at Arrow Bank, Pearl Lake and Rockbridge are open.

Individual parks may still operate some social distancing measures and Rockbridge currently requires masks to be worn indoors.

OWNERS

  • Enhanced hygiene and cleaning procedures across the parks.

  • The reception team is there for you should you require assistance; however, please call or email in the first instance should you need help.

  • We kindly ask for all invoices to be paid by BACS or telephone or by using contactless services.

  • Perspex screens have now been put in reception areas together with a new one-way system.

  • The team have received safety awareness training but will still have that smiley, friendly welcome.

  • Daily park safety checks have been introduced along with communication updates for our team.

  • Hand sanitiser stations are placed at reception, the laundry room, bin bays and toilet block facilities.

We kindly ask you to be patient whilst these restrictions are in place.  Wash facilities should be for use by touring and camping guests only.  For Wales (Rockbridge Park) The toilet block and laundry facilities are not yet permitted to open. We kindly ask you to be patient while these restrictions are in place. You will need to use your own facilities.

  • The bin bay areas at Pearl Lake have been moved to behind the Lakeside.

  • The maintenance team will only attend emergency call outs. The term 'emergency' applies to issues with gas, electric, water, drainage or anything that represents a risk to a persons' health and safety.

  • We will flush your water system through before your return but we still advise you to run the fresh water through for 5 mins when you arrive for the first time.

  • Our Lakeside bar plans to be open from the 9th July serving drinks for consumption in outside areas such as our marquee and patio area.
